Daddy time...

First of all I still have a hard time thinking of Jake as a Daddy...but Gid doesn't. As soon as he hears Jakes voice off he goes to find him. They are so cute together!

He also loves playing the piano with his Dad. Jake will let him play what ever and plays along to match him. It is really quite entertaining.

Gid's Favorite!

Every morning, now that Jake and Misty are staying with us, we hear this determined crawling and Gideon pushes open our door and heads straight for Ron side of the bed. There he finds Ron's special licorice and helps himself!

He is just so funny....once he gets the box he sits with his hand in the box until he finishes his current piece and then gets another one.

He will eat until someone is the bad guy and takes the box away! Mornings haven't this fun in a while!

Friday Night Freeze OUT!

Friday night our heater quit! It was 6 degrees! with a wind chill of -15. So Ron and I went to Sarah's to stay until our heater could get fixed. Jake on the other hand decided it was a good time for "Friday Night Freeze Out!" He and Spenser decided to bake cookies. He thought that would warm up the house. So they made Lemon Fresh cookies which was fine but then they proceeded to open up the windows and put fans in them to see how cold they could stand it! They are crazy guys and I am glad I was under an electric blanket at Sarahs!

When Misty and Gideon come up to see Jake we reap the benefits and get to spend some time with them!

Poor Jake

Jake is working over in Chillicothe so he stays with us during the week. He misses his family so much. He also gets so bored as none of his toys are here. So when he gets home he skates! It doesn't even matter if is is snowing!

It has been fun for us and it gives me something to blog, when he triumphantly lands a jump and wants me to take a picture of him! Go Jake!
