Not for the faint of heart...

So the leg saga continues...after 17 weeks of healing, 5 weeks in a back board, 8 weeks in a cast, and 4 weeks in a boot, this is what my leg looks like. My doctor looked at it and said that is not right...no kidding! So he sends me off to the the orthopedic surgeon. The surgeon says I need surgery as it is a non union break. This means that the bones healed... just not together. So they will go in and cut off the ends of the broken bone, do a bone graft and and put in a plate. This will all happen next Monday. I will then have another 8 weeks in a boot. Jeeze Louise!

Jenny... that is totally a bummer. I can not believe what you have had to go through... I will pray this goes much smoother and that you will be up and around on two legs soon.

That's terrible news!!!! Hope you are feeling better soon. That is just ugly! Why didn't they catch that the first time around and then you wouldn't have to be in this mess..who knows.
