Tour of Missouri

Today I am blogging about my husband Ron. He had the wonderful experience of volunteering at the Tour of Missouri Bicycle Race. This was a professional race with all the international teams. This race included the current winner of the Tour De France. This is also the last US race of the Discovery Channel Team. As you can see he is sunburned but happy. He got to work in the first stage of the race. They will race 6 total stages in the State. The first stage was here in Kansas City then on to Clinton, Branson, Columbia, Jefferson City and Saint Louis.

Jenny, this is soooo neat. Two of the gents I work with are avid bikers and took a loooong lunch to join the group in the Platte City area. It looks like Mr. Man really enjoyed himself in spite of the the sunburn.

I miss you, we need to do a girls day when things settle down, maybe we could get the group together in October on a Saturday... Check with your girls.

Love you,
Kimberly

This looks like a blast! Mark is a big bike racing fan -- and I guess living in Austin where you run into Lance Armstrong at Chuck E. Cheese (we did!) maybe keeps that flame lit! Looks like a fun time to me.
